Not so Average Jo

The Average JO mixtape vol.1
As a dedication to all the average joes in the world, Jo-EL shows exactly what hungry is. through out the mixtape JO often mentions the difference between him in the average rapper which is obviously a big one. Some tracks that stick out to me:

The Return: One of my favorite songs om the cd. this track has ear candy like "got my dick on the curb im so ficking street." and " thats why niggas byte like G-I-G."

Champions theme song: 3 great verses.

Rollin': Crazy story telling skills.

The cd doesnt lack skill at all definetly worth a listen. 3 mics

Also the guys is a pretty smart dude listen to what he has to say below.

NIGGER REVIEW.

So let me star off by saying, this album is courage and bravery. Instead of taking the safe route and releasing a compilation of "I got money" tracks along with "Im in Love" we have a poltically fueled album with enough beat to make you jump. sometimes that is. The best way for me to describe this album is it sounds like nas is giving a report to his teacher. Hes spitting hella knowledge and its making sense he gives you things to think about. each song has its own concept that grasps your mind and makes you listen.

The slave and the master- is more than the truth. you would think he was a fresh rapper who knows the hood and not a rapper whos been rich for 10 15 years. He speaks to the people

Project Roach-Crazy ass concept how they compare the word nigger to a roach. how black people cant get rid of the word nigga like they cant get rid of a roach.

Yall my niggas- Its like the word nigga is talking to all black people. and you say mr.carter is a concept driven track. Being that NAS is reciting the song its also like hes talking about people saying his name. Its crazy..
he talks about how we developed our own language and took a derogotory term and transfomed it into something everybody wants to be. Now this is what music should be about using your voice to day what you want and its a bonus if you have something important to say.

In conclusion this is a dope album THIS IS WHAT A CLASSIC SOUNDS LIKE! obviouslty he has been writing this album for a couple years its not jus something he threw together. the reason i love hip hop.

have you noticed?

That in my interviews i seem to be asking the same questions to each artist? well thats because I am. The whole reason for these sereis of interviews is to see the different perspectives rappers have on certain subjects all along while learning a little bit about the artist himself.
